Yes and no. I think they're generally easier, there's the aforementioned two-character thing, there's the whole MegaMerge mechanic (which gives you a LOT more abilities and skills than you get in Zero, save for maybe if you unlock specials with high rankings there), the tone is a little lighter...

I started watching kinda late, so I'm not sure if I had seen those episodes before watching "Coming of the Fuzors". (Potential peril of syndication?) I mean, I did notice that later at some point, but not when I first saw Primal whoopin' tailgate. It made more sense then, at least.
