    LEGO Optimus Prime

Put a little more time in last night and this afternoon . . . At least this way, once I get more of the torso done, he'll have a leg (or two) to stand on.

Ms Marvel on D+ June 8

I figured the convention was a local fan thing, not a corporate thing, hence the mix of somewhat fancy props and school-carnival booths. Just watched the next episode. Dancing through the living room was fun (not a big enough thing to put a spoiler tag on, really) and when they got to the end...

    CoffeeHorse Goes on an Adventure

Waiting for one more ". . . and we're lost again" post. Just because.

    LEGO Optimus Prime

It's crazy. And a little on the impulsive/ADHD side, but that isn't a new thing. Skipping around like this broke up some of the monotony - I don't usually build sets with 404 steps. I wanted to build the head first, and had the parts left over for arms and hands, so I put those together, too. I...

    LEGO Optimus Prime

Still building it out of order. Feet are done, working my way up the legs - bag 4 for the first leg was fine. For some reason, there were two bags for bag 5 . . . had me seriously worried that I was missing a bunch of parts until I started digging through the box again. Didn't see that come up...

    CoffeeHorse Goes on an Adventure

You'll know something strange was in that new drink if the mouse under your seat strikes up a conversation with you.

Post Pictures of your Transformers: Turkey Time!

Nice pic. Wish I'd picked up a version of Windblade at some point.

    CoffeeHorse Goes on an Adventure

Coffee pictures and getting lost. A couple things that may be consistent on this trip?

    LEGO Optimus Prime

Mine didn't take too long to get here. Felt like waiting for Christmas, but realistically, it was fine. Loved opening it up. The instructions smell like a comic shop - I know that's a crazy thing to get excited about, but I figure this is the kind of place where people can relate to the...

Ms Marvel on D+ June 8

Watched it this afternoon - I really liked it. Iman Vellani reminds me of some of my students, especially in the extra little featurette. Loved the moving graffiti, and there's a fun nod to Hawkeye, too.

    LEGO Optimus Prime

Mine was delivered today. I'm not planning on building it all at once - may as well spread it out over the summer and have fun with it. So - who has two thumbs, no body, and is getting built out of order?

    Obi-Wan Kenobi - streaming on Disney+

I'd forgotten about "Daughter? Granddaughter, maybe" until I saw it in the recap. Leia's great.

The Batman Will Rise in March 2022!

Luke Fox is in these, but I think that was Duke Thomas - Signal.

    LEGO Optimus Prime

It took a while - an hour or so - but the confirmation email did come through. $180 with tax - I've never paid this much for a Lego set or a TF, but I guess that since this is both, that makes it okay . . .

The Batman Will Rise in March 2022!

Not that it's related to anything else in this thread, other than Shadewing's reminder that Wayne Family Adventures is totally a thing that exists, but I just read this one . . . this comic is awesome. Ep. 38 - S.O.S.

    LEGO Optimus Prime

Got through earlier than I expected - yay for midnight on the east coast - but I'm still waiting for the confirmation email. Wonder if it has anything to do w/ using PayPal instead of Lego's secure checkout.

    Obi-Wan Kenobi - streaming on Disney+

Two thoughts so far . . . I like seeing Bail Organa. I've liked Jimmy Smits since seeing him in West Wing. Also - the shows on Disney Plus have really shown how so many people in the Star Wars universe live in outright poverty. Not sure where to go with that, but it stood out to me.

Disney+s Live Action Rescue Rangers Is Not What You’re Expecting

Oh my gosh, just watched it this evening, loved it. Cameos and sight gags were fun, and they were making fun of the fact that the plot of the movie was predictable as things were happening. Also liked

Yeah, just don't go inside . . . they're all gonna get out of their boxes eventually.
