I'm also in the camp of "There's no way Biden would have done this if Harris had won." The man is otherwise too straightlaced to do something like this under normal circumstances. Hell, I'd even go so far to say that Bide probably wouldn't have done this if the republican nominee had been anyone...
And its not even a NEW idea, "Palpatine returns after death due to cloning" was an idea that existed since the 90's iirc. I was in some novel or comic book back in the day. Heck, it kinda makes sense that the guy that took over the galaxy with a clone army, would have at least one clone of...
Yeah, the episode is great if you remove the stupidity of Boimler and Rutherford. You could have had literally any other reason for them to hug up and panic, and still have the same idea without going to absolute stupidest route.
I only rewatched it becuase a freind hadn't see it and wanted to while they were visiting me. Despite warning them how bad it is, and they know me well enough to know I can like a lot of "bad movies" They had the "surely it can't be that bad" with a mix of "this might actually be painful". I was...
Oh I don't disagree that the main issue with the ST is that it wasn't pre-planned rather then who was in the director's seat; but I also feel the way it did go was influenced by fan reaction. The first movie people largely complained that it was too safe and too much like what came before; which...
I at least want Armada Jetfire, Overload was used so rarely in the series that he's not as big of a priority as some of the other Armada Characters they can make. I certainly want him, but I kinda don't want him more then like Demolishor or Scavenger.
Yeah, but otoh; I kinda see why they did it. The Borg as they were lack any kind of central figure. It didn't HAVE to be "A queen" or whatever; but considering this is a movie you kinda want there to be some kind of central figure that the good guys can overcome; so the movie needed its own...
Re: Star Wars:
It feels like ever since I've been alive; EVERY new Star Wars project has been "the worst thing ever that ruined Star Wars." First it was ROTJ, then Ewoks, then the remasters, then the prequels, and now literally anything Disney seems to release. You can say it's whoever's fualt...
Horribull is coming sooner then I'd have expected. and of course in another Multipack.
I really didn't expect anew Vector Prime toy, but I had hoped for a repaint/repackage. I dont think he even has the symbol on him?
I'm not sure I'd call any 80's cartoon episodes "filler" that would require, imo, an actual on going plot which those episodes deviate from. But this is an 80's cartoon before narrative driven cartoon series were a thing. That said, I do agree that the good episodes of GIjoe are really damn good...
It could be that those others might be from other venues that preordered? Like I know with some of the TF ones there were some UK places that placed pre-orders that didn't count to the Haslab directly, but got added to the total later.
And yet, It lasted forever in theaters. It didn't do huge box office numbers, but it remained in theaters and contined to get solid revune even when a lot of other bigger newer movies came out. Fnu kept a running tally of how long it lasted. It had more staying power then people give it credit for.
