    The Repaint Concept Thread

I really wanted to turn BB Silverstreak/Blue Bluestreak into Alternators Smokescreen, and I bought a second one just for that purpose. It's sitting in a bin at the moment, though. I have no idea when/if that project'll ever happen.

    Star Trek General Discussion

Bwa ha ha ha . . . . I still love How I Met Your Mother, because it's so fun to watch those actors play off each other. I teach with people who hate the show, though, so it's fun to bring up that finale every so often just to watch them blow up.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Kascade and Javelin could look cool next to Axelgrease. Hot Shot is cool, but someone posted a mock-up of that mold in Animated colors a while ago. I think I'd rather have that than the Hot Rod colors. Those are cool, don't get me wrong, I just liked the animated colors more. Ultra Magnus...

G.I. Joe thread - October 2025: Rawhides, Pacifists and Dudes in bug costumes.

I had Dee-Jay (sp?) from Battleforce 2000, but that was it, and he was one of the last Joe figures I bought. I just looked those up and saw Mega-Marines, too - I had no idea GI Joe had their own over-the-top crazy design and crazy colored G2 era.

    Star Trek General Discussion

Oh my word, I've never seen that before. That was freaking hysterical! I'd read it out loud to my wife - she does like Star Trek and The Orville - but she isn't *quite as much* of a geek as I am, and the fact that I'd still be laughing so hard I'm crying would probably make me hard to understand.

Conspiracy lunatic thread - people who believe in absurd nonsense are dangerous

When Conspiracies Collide . . . holy hannah, that was a crazy read.

G.I. Joe thread - October 2025: Rawhides, Pacifists and Dudes in bug costumes.

Chuckles was my first GI Joe figure. (One of a very small collection that was given away on Craigslist several years ago.) I'm not picking the new one up, but it's cool to know it exists.

Yeah, it's funny to jump from the "I am officially old" thread to this one. T30 really was a long time ago, wasn't it?

I used to be able to say Ronald McDonald didn't creep me out. That picture changes things, though.

That's actually my only minicon team, all the others that I have came with bigger figures. My wife - fiancé at that point, actually - had Red Alert delivered to me at school on Valentine's Day that year. I walked into the office on my prep and there was Red Alert in car mode on the counter...

Secret Invasion - Nick Fury Disney+ series

It was alright. I usually don't watch shows like this when they first come out, I typically get too busy and then have to play catch up. So I'm really not used to seeing an ending scene like that and having to wait a week to find out what happens next!

There technically are arm-like appendages, but that combination has slightly less poseability than a minifig. It was such a big deal for me to get Energon Rodimus. I liked Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime going back to the 1st movie, and other than Encore-type releases, I hadn't seen any toy or media...
