I expect we'll see a cartoon redeco for Wheelie eventually. He's one of the TFTM-original characters, and there's a substantial difference in deco. This certainly seems like a case of getting the less-popular deco out first to try to maximize sales. That, along with the fact that I'm satisfied...
I think I voted for Megatronus, '86 Megatron, and the Target 4-pack. I honestly can't remember for sure though. As much as I've been really liking a lot of the stuff we're getting, it kinda caught me by surprise how nothing for this year has really stood out as being clearly a best-of-the-year...
Outback looks good. I'll definitely be getting him. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing listings indicating Tailgate will be coming too. Have we heard anything about a potential Swerve yet?
I'm happy sticking with SS86 Wheelie, though. I might give it another look if they do a more cartoon-based...
Just got to open mine up this morning. I have to admit, I'm finding the blank visor to be more unappealing in person than I was expecting. I always liked his G1 toy fine and I generally like the visor look on Transformers, but the blank, black visor just makes him look like he belongs in the...
I still generally don't like how SS86 is taking the established WfC/Legacy/AotP scaling and blowing up select characters (e.g. Optimus, Megatron, Magnus). However, one nice thing about it is that SS86 Megs looks a lot better alongside his namesakes than Siege/Earthrise does.
Animated next...
I just got a shipping notice for Seaspray. I guess this shouldn't be a surprise since my confirmation e-mail said he should arrive October 1st.

Actually, strike that. Walmart is apparently delivering as promised. I'm downright shocked.
I've never understood associating T30 Metroplex with FoC Metroplex. I mean, they both have differences from G1 Metroplex, but they aren't the same differences. Aside from having the circle in the middle of his chest being red, I struggle to come up with any feature of T30 that's closer to FoC...
I don't know what the specific complaints are beyond some text that didn't get corrected from earlier scans, which they said up front that they'd be using. I've still only done a quick skim through the files for mapping out content and haven't had a chance to start actually reading them yet. But...

By the way, I've been working on a spreadsheet mapping out the TAAO contents to help visualize it better. What can I say? I'm an engineer. I still need to work on page numbers, but here's where it stands at the moment...
I still can't fathom that we got WfC updates for the rainmakers, Nacelle, Hotlink, Redwing, unreleased G2 guys, etc., but never got Sunstorm or Bitstream.
I never made it very far in the game either. There were tons of really hard NES games, but this one was on the absurd level.
I'd be interested in getting that Rodimus if it's reasonably easy to get. Don't think I'm going to put in too much effort trying to track one down, though.
Thanks, Sabrblade! Ton of great information there. I think I'm going to take a while to fully digest it all, but definitely have me rethinking a few of my choices.
The TAAO Compendium is the version that was advertised to be modified to match the UK content. I know I can see that the epilogue to US #8 is removed, and I've seen a couple comments online mentioning text changes to match the UK version. Soundwave has been blue in every page where I've noticed...
Ravage is always going to be a tricky one. He's a case where a VERY two-dimensional toy gets morphed by defiance of physics into a three-dimensional cat. We're asking to get a toy that does that same sort of magic while also keeping it too small to use the sort of tricks that routinely get used...
