Indeed, the 2013 series might be a bit of a slow boil, but its got really strong characters, stories, and plotting. While yeah, "Ultimate TMNT" works, it feels like its trying to be between 2003 series and the 80's series. Not as dark and serious as the former, but not as campy and lighthearted...

Iguanus is easily the best of the first wave of Core guys. Rodimus is a bit of a hot mess to transform, imo, and Skywarp isn't bad but needs his nullrays, his little high tech slingshot isn't enough.

For me, yes. I've mentioned it previously. I'm not gonna pay near titan class prices for a fragile g1 toy that is barely voyager size nowadays.

One thing this team does do, is going the extra mile. There are times where what could just be a simple repaint actually gets more love then we expect: SG Magnus with extra head and Slicer who homages both previous toys, Road Hauler has a new head he didn't really need, the new Bumblebee 4pk is...

Yeah, I'm saying is I don't see this team being that creative. I'd prefer it as it's closer to her look then Mirage is; but usually they go on whats been done before. They have surprised me, what with Jhiaxus being a new mold and not an orange repaint of Starscream.

Crasher/Fracture hasn't been a Drag Strip mold previously, unless they make the logical stretch of Drag Strip usually being a Mirage repaint.

Knowing this team, Crasher will likely be a remold of Mirage.

At the price they're selling Tonkanator for I'd rather they done the CW Constructicons with the new heads, and charge like $30+ more. I just cant justify near titan prices for a G1 Devastator.

I just realized, it seems like Hasbro Slicer is potentially the inverse of Botcon Slicer. There we had SG Wheeljack pretending to be Slicer; but the bio for Slicer says he's an Autobot infiltrator, and probably pretending to be Wheeljack.

Ezra Miller, true to his character, is speed running how to be the worst possible human being possible.

One of the best things about this is that they homage both his previous toys, Fast Track as his g1 exo suit, and the guns from his Botcon toy. For something that could have been just a very simple and straight repaint, they really went the extra mile for him.

So we get the requisite age regression episode outta the way early.

Is it wrong that I want them to do either RiD Sideways or a variation of Robotmasters Double Face from Road Rocket? Feels like we should get SOME form of an interdimensional mischief maker.
