Headmasters runs on nostalgia alone. It was nice to see more adventures (boring though they were) with the characters we were attached to.
If you did the same show but with new characters it would be painful to watch.
It took me several tries to get into Victory.
I watched and enjoyed it but it was definitely a slog at first.
I like tokusatsu, maybe that’s why I was so taken with Masterforce.
How hard is it to just not use that word?
Because (rightly!) that’s going to draw focus away from whatever point you’re attempting to make. Plus the fact THERE’S NO COMPARISON WHATSOEVER.
I know the finished film was hardly a cinematic masterpiece but compared to *that*
Oof.
Hats off to all the hard work everybody put in to allow us a (horrifying!!) look back at what might have been.
I am irrationally angry about there not being a thin yellow stripe on a Voyager priced “screen accurate” Deluxe Ironhide.
Change anything about that (Legacy Voyager, Studio Deluxe, etc) and I could rationalize it away but the combination of it being Studio Series *and* costing another size...
Anybody go? I’ve seen some cool pics about Jim Sorenson’s panel but haven’t been able to find much information about what it actually was.
Those UK stamps they’re doing are really cool.
Every single one of the Botcon beast homages are garbage color wise.
They’re readily recognizable sure but all of them are inferior to the genuine article.
Ironhide also seems to be particularly egregious since he’s lacking a stripe DESPITE costing $10 AND being in the hyper-accurate line.
No more than the regular run of the mill mass shooter I’d imagine.
Anybody/thing that tries to organize them is going to pretty rapidly be extinguished. Plus the run of the mill person is pretty sick of their bullshit victim complex. You’re going to see a lot more Waco and a lot less Bundy type...
