I'd think having their own publisher could be beneficial beyond just comics. Imagine if, in addition, they released their own art books, for example, or toy encyclopedias. A little imagination, and I can imagine perks.

Well, I meant that I thought that surly attitude originated with the Mirage Comics, which the '87 toon avoided, rather than with the '90s movie.

I'd love to know how exactly he's "sealed" there, as so much of the lore around seems to describe it.
