I'll admit probably some of why I don't 'get' these figures is my age. Cause these are obviously meant to be in the vein of 3.75 inch action figures from the 1980s (correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the entire ReAction line start with them having found the molds for a cancelled Alien toyline...
The fact that Star Wars isn't a TV show and Beast Wars was probably had something to do with it too, probably some weird 'Well we can't promote war in children's cartoons' regulation Canada had or has.
I find it interesting how some versions of the series use shark as the title animal, others use dragon, some use lion, and some don't even have an animal in their version's name at all.
Meanwhile the original Japanese series had tiger in the title.
I will openly confess to liking the Banquet Mega Bowls/Mega Meals as an occasional trash frozen meal.
For me those are, like, the 'Oh I haven't had one of these in a while, let's grab a couple' type of things. They're not really part of my regular rotation.
Honestly I feel like frozen meals get an unfair reputation because most people only look at the super cheap jive that cost like a couple bucks at the most. Like you can get really good quality ones if you just pay a bit more.
Like I will go to bat for every frozen chicken tikka masala I have...
they were totally behind glass i couldn't even hear them squeak but i at least got to watch them swim around and play and that was really fun
i bought two otter plushes at the gift shop
