  1. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

No mounting points on the light bars that I know of. They also pop off their shallow pegs easily. So far I really like them, much more than I expected, but I also got very lucky and had no breaks out of the box, and got them late enough to have read up on the problem areas. That being said, I...
  2. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Emgo just posted his review of Prime, it's not just me, the firetruck nozzles aren't blast-compatible. The missiles ARE, so weirdly, I can use the effects I set aside with those, but the most logical 'water' spray points won't work for it. Too bad, I really thought they'd be great.
  3. Takara announces T-Spark: a transforming IDW Rodimus and more

Wow, the initial color render for Razorclaw wasn't even CLOSE to the in-hand shot...
  4. Post Pictures of your Transformers: Autumnbots and Halloween Horrorcons!

I have an Armada Unicron (two, actually, one is at my nephew's) but not HazLab. I also didn't back LioKaiser because things went a bit nuts. The shelf didn't cost as much as it looks, a friend got me Victory Saber when things were going badly for me the first time, I later got DeathSaurus...
  5. Post Pictures of your Transformers: Autumnbots and Halloween Horrorcons!

Well, this may be some of the last 'new' stuff for me for a while just because of events and QC being what they are, but I think my 'HasLab' shelf is pretty good!
  6. Takara announces T-Spark: a transforming IDW Rodimus and more

He's a cat, it would have to be one of those 'square box' style matrix things rather than a traditional one, and HE would have to fit in IT... Actually, skip the matrix and just give Rampage and Razorclaw a box that they can hide in that turns into the kibble, with a Divebomb nest on top.
  7. Takara announces T-Spark: a transforming IDW Rodimus and more

It's actually very easy. The reconstructive surgery for whoever did the hitching is tricky, but the physical trailer attachment is pretty straightforward for anyone who's ever used a dog cart.
  8. Takara announces T-Spark: a transforming IDW Rodimus and more

I love the Predaking, but Quality Control being what it's been, I am preordering NOTHING for the moment, I want to see in-hand reviews. And if it's preorder only, I am very likely to miss out right now. Finances aren't great and I will be better served missing a neat one than wasting money on a...
  9. Post Pictures of your Transformers: Autumnbots and Halloween Horrorcons!

Speaking of needing an outfit, for those like me who don't have a TR Fortress Maximus at hand, I think I've found an alternative for Plasma:

I'll test that out...looks like my usual sizes are too big. Thank you!
  11. Post Pictures of your Transformers: Autumnbots and Halloween Horrorcons!

Nuts. Flikr just changed its rules and I really don't want to pay for image hosting right now.
  12. Post Pictures of your Transformers: Autumnbots and Halloween Horrorcons!

Edit: Trying the image imbed, WOW, I need to work on the resizing...Let see how this looks.
  13. Post Pictures of your Transformers: Autumnbots and Halloween Horrorcons!

Ow. Also, doing an experiment attaching the file rather than linking the picture as flikr no longer shows full sizes. Edit: Thank you, that works better! I've always been hesitant to do direct uploads, though, I know file space costs money.
  14. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Just checked, and yep, I've been lucky, NONE of my known problem-bots have a crack issue, even on the clear bits. They also never skip leg day. Edit: AND HIS HANDS MUST BE BLUE!!! Edit to edit: odd thing, I set aside some blue 'Jetfire' type blast effects, but the fire truck nozzles...
  15. Post Pictures of your Transformers: Autumnbots and Halloween Horrorcons!

I loved the Toyhax set with the window towers, I know some thought it was too much, but it and a few of the original sheet combined were great. I also trimmed the edge of a sticker sheet to frame the chest door edge, and that stopped the flop. On the other hand, I do see the appeal of never...
  16. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Don't worry, all of us are having to come to terms with Optimus having a serious crack problem, and the plastic surgery he needs to get that sorted out. Doesn't help that his wingman needs it too or he could go to pieces. On a happier note, post sanding mine is holding up fine, and I realized...

"I can't deal with that cow." -At my nephew's, started improvising with his stuff as it's different than mine.
  18. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

I agree, this is a case where MISB is not the way to go. You can deal with customer service now if needed. Later it will be too late.
  19. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Ugh...just so everyone knows, there is ANOTHER part of Optimus in this set to watch, it has a miniature version of Trypticon's issues. The hip forwards/backwards ratchet springs (ACTUAL METAL SPRINGS!) are so strong they can damage the ratchet teeth or even force the plastic apart, breaking the...
  20. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

I was thinking the Prime rifle from the accessory pack, but I think it works great with Fire Truck Optimus from this set (pics in the Picture Thread). It's not easy to get a good image of it proportionally, though. It looks a lot more off than it is. The Fire Convoy design was actually my...
