The Dinobots are definitely designed with Dinoking in mind. The torso being made of Slag and Sludge instead of Grimlock would be very surprising, except that it completely aligns with Dinoking.

I can respect Core for coming up with a weird combination sequence that requires compromises we wouldn't accept at Deluxe size and above. It's like something we'd see from a Brave series side bot.

It's really obvious. It's not just Slag being the chest. It's Sludge being the other half of a two-bot torso. That corresponds completely with Kakuryu and Rairyu.
I guess they can't be accused of laziness. Every one of these games so far has locations and props that aren't in the others. I wish they'd stuck with A Maretime Bay Adventure as a base because it has the nicest models, but oh well. It's wild that this exists at all.
An exceptionally cozy island with the nicest beaches in the whole state. There's people who are into that enough that they're willing to take the risk.
