On the one hand, the Widow has a low shot capacity. On the other hand, each shot hits like a freight train. If you're a lousy shot, it's not very good, but if you're a decent shot, it pays off and then some. The Black Widow in 3 trades slightly lower power for a slightly higher shot count, but...

Sinnoh gave me a bunch of my all-time favorites (Garchomp, Torterra, Giratina, Froslass), and it debuted Cynthia, still the best Champion. But gameplay-wise, it has not aged well, and BDSP really showcased that. By contrast, the only SV mons that have really stuck out to me are the Fuecoco line...

They've mangled the law for decades, then done everything they can to disenfranchise voters to keep it that way. The system isn't broken, it works exactly the way they've made it work for them.
