ROTB started in 3,678 theaters and is down to 2,475, in 5 weekends.
The Flash started in 4,234 theaters and is down to 1,723, in 4 weekends.
The Flash's drop is truly catastrophic
Static grins in spite of himself. "I could get behind that. Could use a couple mysel...
[You're on the wagon!]
"Or not..." Static sighs, feeling mildly annoyed with himself.
"My I be excused Chief Director? I have a few other poniesI need to talk to about this and if you all need to discuss...
Misty puts a wing on Maple's shoulder. "It's going to take time... but, I really think things will turn out okay."
"Thanks, Misty. I'm sure you're right."
Rhapsody smirks softly. "You don't quite have my voice right. It not deep enough, to light." She says with a somewhat playful...
"My head's kinda reelin'. It's a lot to take in. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions later one on one. But right now I can't think of anything."
"Certainly Mr. Night Cap, I'll try my best to answer any other questions."
Spoiler
Rhapsody looks to 'Maple' as she gazes at her through one...
Scarlets anger had spiked when Rhapsody chastised everypony for not seeing the "inevitable" danger of Changling Maple. Anger made worse when she alluded to her dislike of him again. He wanted 6o yell at her, to vent his frustration with her seemingly automatic downer judgements of ponies.
And...
This was a surprisingly good weekend for ROTB. It is slowly losing theaters, but it's really not too bad a drop at this point. There are newer movies that are getting dropped faster, and not just The Flash.
If we're comparing to TLK, ROTB played in 2,475 theaters this weekend and brought in...
But that was just a glorified brainstorming session. None of those ideas became a complete script, and it shows. TLK is a collage of individual movie ideas loosely stitched together without a guiding vision.
I usually don't bother with shadows. I'm very lazy.
I don't use Photoshop. I use Paint.NET. It's free and it has the best interface I've found for an art program.
No. I suspect they tried to blunt the power of future strikes by reducing the role of writers. I don't think DOTM or AOE or TLK had complete scripts. I think ROTF convinced them that they don't need one.
My theory is they never had a finished script again. Maybe Paramount executives looked at ROTF's box office numbers and decided that they didn't need those striking writers after all.
ROTF was full of corrections. Prime was a better fighter, the Decepticons got to speak more, and the camerawork was a lot smoother. It's a shame the production was so chaotic because it feels like they had good intentions.
