As much as people used to cry "Executive meddling!" when Hasbro would try to insert their ideas in their media, they really try to have good ideas when they do that. All of these films would have been better if Hasbro had more creative control.

Once you've read Dracula I'm not sure where to go from there. Horror only has so many real must-read books. The Phantom of the Opera is high on my list but unfortunately there's still no definitive English edition. It's a complicated book. It needs careful translation and extensive annotations...
