$1500?! As in one thousand with an extra half-grand tacked on? Who is this for exactly? I'm not the CEO of a Fortune 500 company, an oil tycoon, or an old-monied aristocrat; I'm a middle-aged Transformer collector with a family and life responsibilities. Weird. Baffling.

I took the plunge and preordered MP-44S Optimus Prime. I've got the trailer from MP-10 if I really get itchy for one.

I might be tempted if it was just Prime, Roller and his trailer for even like, $25 - $30. But $40+ and I've got to deal with that turd (sorry if you like him) of a Bumblebee figure? Nah, b.

To this day, I have never seen the show, but his toy was cool and a lot of fun. Plus, it was one of the early Japanese-only toys that I purchased new as a collector (from Hasbro Toy Shop!). So there's a certain amount of nostalgia that I feel for him.

If only BW II Galvatron got a little bit of the love that Lio Convoy gets every now and then, too...

I dropped my preorder for Nemesis, but I did get the heads up for Armada Prime, SS86 Snarl, and Legacies Devcon, Axelgrease and Beachcomber. Christmas in July!

I still love that Classics Prime. Never got this version of him, but I like the shiny bits.
