This show needs background ponies. I understand the budget, but just have them standing around doing nothing particularly animated. The emptiness of the world is getting in the way of the storytelling. It's not believable that their day jobs matter, and even the characters are starting to notice.
Please no flashback.

Well I managed to get an electrician over here. The good news is he says there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with any of my equipment after all. It has to be the power company's equipment, so they need to come fix it.
Full power won't be restored for who knows how long. Power company says my equipment is damaged, and it's my problem and there is nothing they can do about it. Even though they agree it could have been caused by this morning's storm related outage, my equipment is my problem.

I don't know if it's just the hurricane destroying cell reception but my phone was silent today.
So probably when it's all fixed I'll get a 3 AM text hurricane.
