I didn't realize that was the going rate. I haven't seen it available on anything like BBTS, so I don't have a frame of reference. If that's the case, though, I will admire it from afar.
TR Fort Max is not a good Transformer, but he is a good super robot. He's one of two Titans I've purchased knowing that I will rarely - if ever - transform it (the other being The Ark). If you missed out on any iterations of this guy along the way, $160 is a pretty reasonable ask.
It's been exciting to see the reveals and some of these "how the sausage is made" missives from Mark. However, I am firmly in the "don't care about The Thirteen" camp. The truth is that I left the shores of Transformer fiction long ago. I just enjoy a well-designed, fun bot though, and...
I like and have preordered both versions, but if I had to drop one, it would be the prototype. The anime is the version that I would have 100% bought as a kid, to round out the Movie cast. It is the look that I want. The prototype is cool for what it would have been and is an interesting...
I wish that they could've found a way to give that Earth mode Sideswipe his Countach-looking wheels, like Sunstreaker had. Don't get me wrong, it's my favorite version of Sideswipe, but that really would have been a nice visual cue and rounded out the look more completely.
Those all look like package refreshes / slight deco changes, if they are real. Not sure what is going on with that box art, but Sideswipe definitely registers more as Red Alert for me.
Part of the reason why I think that this set appeals to me, is that it really conjurs up the old (good) feeling of "Takara's release is different". I used to love waiting to see what deco choices they would go with, and I miss a little of the fanfare around that. Arguably, most of the Dramatic...
The extra camera bits from the Deluxe 3-pack look espeically good in the more toon-focused deco. I'm fine with my current Thundercracker but if this one's colors "pop" a bit more, I might just keep it out on display instead.
^That is good :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:! But I would seriously like to see both a battle damaged and "sleep mode" Prime from the recent '86 mold. In fact, I would go so far as to say that I would welcome a trailerless two pack featuring both versions. But that's just me!
Yeah, this is the first Dramatic Capture set that I might actually be interested in. I've got the regular release and the toy color 3 pack (and Botcon 2016 sorta-reflector), but this set is just plain cool, and I wouldn't mind having another Thundercracker and Kremzeek.
I feel like that DNA design kit for Galvatron was a must-have, due to his relatively squatty-looking proportions; it improves the figure quite a bit, IMO. It was an okay-ish attempt at a Galvatron (considering his toy track record), but there are too many things about it that are off for me. I...
I feel like they absolutely nailed the overall look of G1 robot-mode Megatron. Face sculpt, proportions, articulation - top notch. And whatever sorcery is keeping his obvious tank parts from not being obvious! Kudos to the design team!
While I share @ZacWilliam1's sentiments on repeatedly...
