I can't get over how good Jhiaxus is. He almost looks like he walked off the comic cover, it's crazy. I hadn't given the figure a second thought until I saw him.
Dang, I had zero desire to pick up that Jhiaxus, but I might have to get him anyway.
Tarantulus looks great, and Elita-1/Minerva might be the best female car mold we've gitten since thrilling 30.
Still torn on the stunticons. I think the cars being the back halves of the legs is really...
The reason I'm likely out on Legacy Bulkhead is because I didn't want a Bulkhead because I liked the character (I'd rather have Animated Bulkhead in that case, TBH) but because I really liked the show and wanted a collection to reflect that. There's nothing wrong with the concept of a G1-ified...
Yeah, but you also wanna capture the 40 year old nostalgic crowd who don't give a poop about getting toy for the new movie.
Granted the other chars from that movie aren't getting repacks, so who knows what goes on in the minds at Hasbro.
Edit: also this is an attempt at an explanation, not a...
It might be the case that they expected the film to be out in or around this wave hitting, and wanted a G1 Wheeljack in stores for when movie Wheeljack would have been on screens.
A Power Rangers podcast I listen to checked out the Power Rangers RPG these guys did and said it was chock full of errors and mistakes (like contradictory rules and whatnot) and apparently their solution is "buy supplements", so they wound up requesting a refund. I'd recommend waiting until...
Seems Hasbro perhaps has realized that crossover figures within thier own IP's are way cheaper than licensing other IPs, as as a trademark for "Equestron" has been found, suggesting a MLP Transformer...
Yeah, the issue here is they went pure nostalgia, so he has to look like 1984 toon megatron and turn into a 1983 HISS Tank toy. Had they made the character model from scratch for this specific altmode, it likely would have been better integrated.
IDW reprinted the old Marvel comics, so maybe whoever gets the license next will finish off the IDW hardcovers. It's a longshot though, IDW didn't do big collections of any of the Dreamwave stuff.
Yeah, I'm out after IDW2 ends.
Are there any alternatives to Comixology or did Amazon just basically trash the entire comics industry in one fell move?
