This is a ROUGH way to get this Hound. But Trailbreaker and Sunstreaker are fairly rare now. And Jazz is a fairly early SS86 release that's also getting hard to find. So at least these aren't terrible picks to get alongside.
If this is a Buzzworthy style opaque plastic set, I'd be all over it...
I go back and forth on this one so much. From most shots, especially a head on view, I really like it. But angled like this the proportions just reminds me so much of the Classics deluxe, which I don't remember very fondly.
Part of me would prefer Wheeljack to have just been a Deluxe with an altmode Bee minifigure, but this is nice to have either way.
Tidal Wave looks great, but I'm not able to find and house any more Titans at this point so I'll have to do without.
I really wish LE Detritus had more of that sandy tan, rather than this somewhat pinker shade.
I also wish he had a bit more paint on him, but that's a lesser issue.
...I get that that seems like a slam dunk of a decision, but it's not as if I ever even entertained the "no fiction, no toyline" option in bringing this up.
I'm happy to have the toyline, especially as it's supplemented by capsules and Selects, and as it's grown to be a better mix. The UT, and...
I was just reminded of the interweaving story they put in the Beast Hunters instruction booklets, which ended up being pretty cool in a way totally distinct from the show. That's good stuff.
I mean, if it had been of similar quality and tone, it probably wouldn't have hit the spot anyway. It certainly didn't feel like a loss at the time it was revealed that Netflix passed on it, after what preceded it.
Same, a bit.
I've always wanted something along the lines of Cybertron, with a something-for-everyone angle that has a little of everything and homages everywhere. And to an extent the Legacy trilogy (as well as Selects) is bringing that, with mixed results. But it all falls kind of flat...
Absolutely, or like you said, if this were a novel attempt that isn't just straight reusing remaining faithful to that concept. He's really, really not difficult. Even allowing for the extra steps and engineering involved in having him do more than plank under the trailer. I don't care about the...
I've gone back and forth on this and currently I'm of the mind to get an SS86 Ironhide (is anyone making a new "not dead" windshield?), and nonnef-upgrade the heck out of Earthrise/Galactic Odyssey Ratchet with better feet and repair bay stand bits. So I can have both molds (plus the Earthrise...
I was always going to be willing to pay Commander prices for a full Rodimus Prime, however unfavorably he seems to compare value wise to the immense Sky Lynx etc. Whatever. And do like so much about it.
But I'm with Coffee on this, the execution is maddening. Robot and base mode, great. Solo...
Oh, that Universe Smokescreen would be sweet. It would also be cool to get the SG Sideswipe mold in Drench colors, with the olive drab, but that seems like it'd be pretty unlikely. Gonna have to make that one at home.

Tbh in today's multiverse-happy storytelling milieu, it's easier than ever to live by the notion that adaptation Y doesn't erase story X from existence. I'm happy to see this as a Hitchhikers Guide sort of situation where each adaptation/version has its own unique bits, although in this case the...
