I think @The Phazer is correct. His appearance in G1 was only in robot mode and most of his appearance in Beast Wars was also in Robot mode. That brief dream sequence is the only instance I can think of where he was in jet mode.

No, he's pretty stable. He just is heavy duty so having him balance well in different poses can be tough. Again, a great centerpiece but maybe not the best for a kid to go running around the house with.
Loving all of this so far. I was kind of hoping not to like it as space to display is an issue these days. Then again, that is always the case and yet somehow I make it work. :D

Not to go all P&R here, but that is what I find so frustrating about Musk. I LOVE SpaceX and I even really like Tesla, but damn if it doesn't make me feel dirty that liking those things benefit such a psycho dude.
You are correct about that. I didn't buy either of Hasbro's titan combiners because I already owned Hercules and Feral Rex. Both of which are fantastic display pieces, but as mentioned, do suffer from their own weight.
While I agree with Steevy that the windows are a bit iffy on the original release, I HATE cell shading. I'd rather have the SS86 original windows than this, but that's just me.
I was 12 years old in 1984 and can remember watching all of G1 as it aired back in the day it was on in the afternoons along with G1 Joe. Plus, my local station aired Robotech at 6am so I could watch that before school.
