It's funny how both Hasbro and Takara have completely separate plans for an animated Transformers series themed around animal-formers mixed in with the usual suspects, and both set to be released around July.

Hmm, checking the script archives, the full script does say "quartrex", but the dialogue script says "quartex".

And yet, that "random cheap cartoon" was still 50 times more entertaining than the likes of the Prime Wars Trilogy and War For Cybertron Trilogy cartoons combined, both of which had a much higher budget than the barely-any-budget that Q-Transformers had.

Though, doesn't look like the toy has elbows, unfortunately. Can't tell if those pins in the knees are for articulation or simply structural integrity.

It also kind of feels like those scenes somewhat interrupted the flow of the movie.

Regarding the episode runtime for this series being 5 minutes long, Q-Transformers was also a YouTube cartoon and it had two seasons (both released on Blu-Ray, even) of episodes that were only 3-and-a-half minutes long.

Fair warning that some of the deleted scenes were pretty cringy.
