Stuff like this makes me miss offscreen redecos all the more. I'd have loved a fleet of these in different color schemes. This is one of those molds that would look nice as a Sentai team range of colors.
Definitely feeling the Nominus Prime possibilities. But the Prime Changer is a good looking mold too so I hope to get that in other colors. It's a good unique jetbot look.
I'll probably get this over the Warrior/Deluxe so he looks better standing next to other Primes and such1, but I'd like redecos out of the latter because that looks pretty good too. Glad the yellow is less orangey/brown so he's more distinct from Dirge's colors.
That third mode is hilariously...
I am very tempted by both of these. The G1 cars are neat-looking cars in general, and Sunstreaker's very specific look makes for a great toy car. It'll look sharp regardless.
But I'm still hoping for a Hot Rod, or ffs a Rodimus Prime -- the latter could REALLY use some damn leg articulation...
It's what happens when you traumatize a legion of children who, whether they grow up or not, become adults and dominate the discourse.
But more seriously there's the branding element of it as well; for better or worse they somehow didn't know what they had in Optimus and the rest of the brand...
Same, as iirc it's basically the T30 one, which was good. Earthrise Arcee is hilariously half done, and I'd like a Lifeline out of the SS86 mold please.
None of these have been very affordable for me specifically, and so far I've been comfortable sitting out. But this will be very difficult to let pass by. Well played, Takara Tomy.
Right? Honestly I think it's those shots that got me to pause and smile (in the midst of being blown away by the epic stuff.) Just aw, the kids! A big dose of the humanity and heart in the midst of all the posing. (I wish there'd been a moment with Movie Bee and Sam. And with Charlie.)
And when...
IIRC that announcement was in reference to their 6" figure lines (GI Joe Classified Marvel Legends, Star Wars, and Lightning Collection... which sadly didn't live long enough to see it). Select products in 2024, and all new 6" releases after that.
It'd certainly be welcome for Transformers, though.
Just a thought exercise.
As we're in the wrapup phase for the last part of Legacy, it seems like a good time to reflect on the last two toyline trilogies we've gotten. (I thought about extending back to Prime Wars for a trinity of trilogies, but honestly that feels like an entirely different...
I'm... Aware of that. That's my point.
The hard /k/ sound is there, so the c would be superfluous. The spelling may be the way it is because they didn't start from the word "block", they started from /b/+/l/+/k/.
I wonder if the non-yellowed plastic will then start yellowing because of the sun exposure just to mess with us
Well, that's interesting news! Plastic is weird, man.
