Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see firetrucks fighting with sharks!

A custom concept from an Optimus Prime that isn't Nemesis Prime or Shattered Glass Optimus, and that hearkens back to a fun 20-year-old release? How... refreshing. Continuing the search for Some Kind Of (Ice) Bucket.

Might have also been intrigued by the old Target exclusive "burning" colors.

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

I think the Binder is more along those lines. This was a fiction text written based on parameters set in the Binder/Bible. Funny enough, this being a somewhat sacred text archiving the stories of their deities and early peoples, it's an in-universe Bible of sorts more than a series bible.

I will always get a laugh out of how the Exodus novel itself seemed to acknowledge how dumb or at least clunky a name that is by NARRATING how the crowd changes their chant of "Megatronus" to "Megatron"... AND explicitly justifies it by saying "as if they wanted to end on a stronger syllable" or...

I wonder if the shoulders are on 5mm pegs and there might be enough clearance to peg them further forward, above the wheel. That would at least have just the forearm/pipes sticking out in the back, just generally better proportions.

Conceptually I've always preferred them to be out of reach, intangible fiction-only elements of history. I've always been in that weird in-between space where I did and didn't want toys. (This never includes Alpha Trion, whom I've always wanted a toy of since before he got folded into the...

This actually does seem like a very Starscream thing to say.

I miss that slew of Target-exclusive toy colors they did with the BW figures. I'd love an Armada Galvatron that hewed more to the original Hasbro toy's color scheme with the charcoal face and the lighter, warmer pastels instead of the almost-blue.

I'd already idly thought about getting it based on a bleary-eyed view first thing in the morning. He's THE Mini-Con guy, and there were enough neat bits about Micronus and the apex armor (but I couldn't figure out the armor's altmode, thought it was an ATV). But once I'd gotten enough coffee...

I will always love these wacky behind the scenes bits, particularly from Mark. I don't always agree with the design choices and how they're spun, or really quite get them (I'll just go with "one wheeled motorcycle, fitting ride for a minicon king"), but it's always fun to hear. And this is Mark...

Colors: a throwback to when I was semi-literally painting myself into a corner. (An unexpectedly more rewarding part of this whole process was seeing the Tamiya Champagne Gold really pop on Snarl's gold parts.) This is kind of making me warm even further to red Snarl and green Slug. Noooooo

Reminds me of that one Vector Prime that would've looked REALLY good in a metallic finish, but didn't get one. Bronze and gold offset by the dark brown accents and maybe some orange seems like it would look great. The dramatic organic shapes on this mold need to really catch the light and look...

I keep thinking I'd be more tempted by that Slugslinger if it were properly the basically-black main color he was in Rebirth. But then he'd still be saddled with a Leader-sized pack-in, and I already got that mold. (There's at least one 3P toon head for Sandstorm; they're pricey for heads but...

    The “Other” G2 Dinobots…

For me, the best answer is colors and patterns from Jurassic Park: Chaos Effect. http://www.jptoys.com/toy-database/chaos-effect/dinosaurs/index.htm But less excitingly, we have enough color variants for at least another trio of the first Dinobots: turquoise Grimock, red Slug, green Snarl. That...
