The upshot is: O'toole will probably be replaced by the tories, and this is likely to be the last mandate with trudeau leading the liberals. But largely nothing has changed.
When I went to bed last night: they had called it for a liberal minority with tories as opposition.
So, let's just do a little math shall we? It cost 600+ million dollars, and exposed millions of people during a pandemic AND they managed to land a massive rallying point for quebec nationalism...
Alright, started watching the new series.
Do I like the whole "THEM! But as KIDS!" trope? Nope. But I am glad the franchise is strong enough to experiment with it's core identity.
That said: I am enjoying the hell out of it, and it really does seem that netflix knows how to make them a good...
Welp, it's election day in canada. When the proletariat gets its meagre say in the direction of our nation and our representatives finally get some exercise and stop butt polishing the hardest workers in parliament: the chairs.
And frankly: I'm going to be happy when tomorrow comes and all this...
I don't think it matters. It was "something" the republicans lost, and now they're in a position to attempt to actually, successfully, reverse that. So of course they're going to try it. All they have left are completely fabricated wedge issues and outrage.

So two things of note:
1.) Quebec has now moved past the grace period for the covid passport. Fines on both individuals and businesses which range from 1 to 6 thousand dollars a pop will begin being issued. Of course, I still can't seem to figure out whom is RESPONSIBLE for issuing those fines...
Because there was a study done at the beginning of the pandemic that showed that ivermectin actually DID have some effect on corona viruses in a lab setting. But basically, you need to apply the medicine directly to the virus for it to work: and the nature of the medicine means that does not...
