Digging everything about Laser Prime, except I wish the gun looked more like the original. Or like the Titan Master one, which looked like a double-barreled version of Prime's G1 ion blaster.

Love these two, I just wish the Targetmasters fit their vehicle modes better. ...not that I have the Targetmaster versions, but that's part of why. The other reason being I have the US ones and couldn't afford fancy imports at the time.

Pretty much. As for the actual why? No idea. For being "toy commercials," cartoons in the '80s and '90s were terrible for having what was on screen resemble what was on the shelf. I did an article about the vehicles in a few cartoons and how they were different from what you could buy...

This was my wife's takeaway, albeit from watching Phelous's reviews of the series. But yeah, I've long stood behind the idea that in the right hands... I really want to see Dragon Lord back, same concept, but not written for buffoonish cartoon slapstick. Unfortunately...
