We know gravity exists the same as we know evolution exist, do to actual observation. What we know with more certainty is how evolution actually works mechanically(microbes and insects are good test cases). Gravity is a bit harder to crack... Is it caused by warped spacetime as Einstein...

Unfortunately the former, the latter could have some actual advantages.

It's a shame, really. AI could improve our lives in amazing ways. Heck, it's already helping improve pathology, but someone who is willing to steal data to improve their AI models would also likely be willing to use said AI to do various other unethical things in the future.
