I am not recommending it to anyone. In fact, I think that Picard S1-S3 should be the very last thing that they watch Star Trek wise. Season 3 only hits hard once you have seen all of the TNG-Voyager series, the TNG films, and a couple of the TOS films.

The first episode was originally supposed to be a 1 episode story, but the studios wanted to make it into a big TV movie event. So Roddenberry took the script and added all the Q bits to it. Frankly, I think it really works as a first episode, with Q re-enforcing the SCI-FI parts of the story...

I had to clean that Box a lot. You can see in the pics, it was dirty, and it took a lot of cleaning. It looks like it was in someone's attic for a few years. Still, It's on my shelf now with one of my NES' systems packed in it!
