I seem to remember renders of TR Galvatron with a better mask design, before the one we got was finalized. Seemed like they were having trouble with it.
I definitely think he suffered from being an early wave entry though. Had he come out down the line they might have been more confident...
There's an idea there but even if the Universe design got to be fully realized without being half gutted and downsized... I still think it's just missing the mark for me.
Something about the hyper-fixation on realism leading to an all grey tank... with a giant cartoon 80s orange space laser on...
Batgirl was one thing, but Superman (Legacy) seems to have a lot of excitement and hype the likes of which a non-Batman DC movie hasn't had in some time. Additionally, Batgirl was scraped before a proper trailer was ever done up for it.

Heck, I landed one of the running change Kingdom figures that fixed the shoulder assembly, took the battle damage off with...
There's a "Galvatron Curse"?
The only G1 Galvy moulds since that Universe 2.0 figure were the TR one and the KI/Legacy/SS '86 one. Both of which are pretty solid.
I mean I guess AoE Galvy wasn't great but I'd hardly call him "curse" levels of bad...
