The real question we should all be asking is if there's going to be a cover/remix as good as the Victory one from the Deathsaurus reveal.
Like, DAMN that whips.
I've always found unicron's size in the movie kind of weird. He's supposed to be able to eat planets but he really only snacks on moon sized objects. (Lithone has to be moon sized given it fits into Unicron's mouth just as well as the moon bases). If he's able to stand on Cybertron like he...
Honestly, Hasbro being trapped into this mindset of "everything has to have a robot mode" is probably why I'd skip Primus. I would absolutely make space in my collection for a large, non-transforming Cybertron if the price was right; making it transform is just going to make it SO much more...
I thought I was someplace where my post wouldn't get messed with by a mod unless I violated the terms of the forum. I did not get that information from the Allspark, so I would appreciate not having my posts altered to imply they were.
Omega Level was from awhile ago, I don't remember where it was from. Most people assumed it was the Omega Lock for Primus/Cybertron at the time.
EDIT: Quick research points to it being said on a livestream.
Apparently the "No Optimus thing" was a misunderstanding, if this random twitter person is to be believed.
Combine that with "Omega level announcement" message and "fire up your engines" from the recent teaser and that's why people are starting to lean towards Omega Prime.
EDIT...
Heh, I remember people complaining about the scale between Alternators Grimlock and MP Prime.
Anywho, my licensed vehicle of choice is a space shuttle. Always a sucker for a space shuttle.
So Hasbro posted the next Haslab reveal is happening on the 30th of January...
and then promptly took down the announcements.
So who knows what's going on! Figured I'd make a thread incase the message comes back...
You paid actually real-world money to buy universally reviled product for the sake of completionism.
Still haven't actually gotten past like chapter 3 or 4 in the Covenant of Primus.
EDIT: I just realized we're just rehashing a conversation we had back in November. I don't hold my opinion in such high esteem that I think y'all need to listen to it again, so I'll just dip out of this conversation for the time being.
Honestly, ATC felt TOO referential of the first movie. That movie was never going to be better than the original and beating the audience over the head with references not only negatively impacts the movie developing it's own identity, but also just reminds them of a film they'd probably rather...
That's likely one of the reasons they're adding comedians like Patten Oswald, Paul Rudd and Kumaill Nanjiani to the franchise.
The one of the older concepts for a third Ghostbusters movie was them passing the torch to then modern comedians (like Chris Farley)
