I never like the idea of Transformers that "predate" Transformation, whether it's the 13 or the upcoming pitch for Transformers One, but that's juts me.

I've been so inured to dumb Transformers movie stuff over the last decade and a half that I didn't realize how terrible a name "Transformers One" was until now. It's the Xbox all over again!

The thing with the GI Joe crossover toys is that they're not just Transformers, but they're also fully Joe vehicles and as such need to be large enough to accommodate the figures. Unlike other crossovers where the hook is just getting a cool pop culture vehicle that is also a Transformer.
