I always found it funny that because Megatron wasn't around at the launch of G2, they picked Ramjet of all people. Not even Starscream. Kinda wild this has never been referenced again. It'd be funny if Ramjet started thinking he was Optimus' rival when Optimus barely even thinks of Ramjet at...
If a child can understand "boy" and "girl" then they can understand "nonbinary." In fact, kids are probably more likely to get the concept as they haven't had decades to galvanize old (and antiquated) gender norms in their minds, where everything has to fall into group M or group F, and those...
Man, that suuuuuuuucks. Earthspark S1 was something special, IMO. I'm not going to say it's the best animated series, but it's certainly the freshest take in awhile. Real heartbreaking if it's true that the creative team behind it got gutted and that's why season 2 was such a drop in quality...
Yeah, this feels like them squirting out one last use of this mold before the new one comes in.
'course watch them find even more ways to release it just to spite me.
I think Laser Op, if I owned one, would be the last toy I ever sell. They just don't make figures like that anymore. It' a great figure with tons of neat, unobtrusive gimmicks thanks to the trailer.
There's something to be said to being able to see the figure before you buy it so you can avoid getting one with a bad paintjob or factory damage or whatever.
Jtprime17 hit us with one last set of revelations, sadly they're about what we're NOT getting, namely the Core Class has indeed not been solicited as part of the line next year and apparently wasn't selling the way Hasbro wanted...
Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo once stated, in reference to "Dare to be Stupid," from a VH1 Behind the Music about Weird Al, that "I was in shock. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard. He sort of re-sculpted that song into something else and... I hate him for it, basically."
Cyberverse's design is different enough (Two headed Autobot vs two normal autobot welded together) that I'd consider him seperate. He's still got a spot on my shelf though.
Was Xaaron the biggest remaining show/comic-only G1 character whose never had a toy? I'm trying to think of who's left now. Rack 'n' Ruin, I guess?
Arcee, Alpha Trion, the female Autobots and Devcon have gotten toys. Straxus, Scrourge and now Xaaron have gotten toys. (Though Scrounge is...
This is the weirdest conversation I've ever seen in this fandom, after years and years and years of people rabidly demanding more and more accuracy to the source material.
If they unnecessarily remolded him just to make him different when even the original figure was not, then I'd be pretty annoyed because that budget could have been put towards Slipstream or one of the other "misses the mark" figures we've gotten this year.
Yeah, I'm guessing Hasbro could probably make a new Go-bots TV show if they wanted and not have to worry about a lawsuit, but there's not much of a reason to without at toyline to go with it.
Unless IDW did a deal with Bandai that we don't know about. I'll check the copyright info in that trade...
Aren't the "mainline" toys (Cyberverse, Earthrise, the mainline RotB toys) a different team than the "generations" toys (i.e. legacy, studio series).
Have we ever seen a mold jump from one side to the other, like ever?
I like that Smallfoot, but probably not enough to pick up the other two, sadly.
Shelves be getting full, and I already skipped Bugbite.
EDIT: If Pathfinder was in her classic colors instead of her funpub colors, I'd be all over this.
