I'm not entirely sure all of this blue tinting isn't just a lighting effect. Wanna see more pics, and even the thing in person, before making a final judgement.
But his shins being lighter than dark grey or black is accurate.
Leg colour is G1 cartoon accurate.
As for the cannon... it's a G1 Megs cannon. I don't see the issue.
This is clean kibble management. Very impressive.
It's a gimmick line. I don't think they're thinking much about reinventing characters. Someone decided to use a female Seeker for this. They probably checked to see who they had, saw Slipstream, and that's that.
The way I see it, we've gotten most of the BW cast at standard scale between Kingdom and Legacy.
So seeing them all at Core class would be a neat experiment.
Yeah, and the toys have always been about as big as their G1 counterparts for obvious reasons.
I'm just saying a line that actually tried to match the Mainframe show's scale of "Maximals and Predacons are significantly smaller" would be neat and novel.
Also if they were going to really laser focus on scale, the Beastie guys would be Core class.
Which I'd be fine with. I've wanted the whole BW lineup in Core class since Kingdom. Ok, Megs and Primal as Deluxes.
Everything I've seen tells me that this would have been a home run of a set if not for the major QC issues. Which really, really sucks.
Hasbro needs to get this under control if they want HasLabs to remain viable.
