Given that there's more of an adult collector market now, and I imagine a subset of that is only interested in displaying their favorite characters in robot mode... I can see why they're a more viable venture now than back in 1990.

Turns out I probably could have done that, but past experiences told me to take no chances, so we were there at 6am, four hours before they opened. Fortunately, they opened up half an hour earlier, probably due to the line getting in the way of retail doorways...
