    Legacy Line Wish List

^Ooh...Cybertron Sideways / Noisemaze would be great to update. He's still an awesome figure but I can imagine how cool he'd look with modern engineering. Also liked for BW Quickstrike - they've gotta give him and Rampage the update treatment as well.

Yeah, I have had a slate of random stuff from Amazon recently. Got Classified Spirit last week (Storm Shadow, who I ordered along with him, is still listed as an October release). SS86 Sludge is supposed to be in on Friday. Who knows?

    Legacy Line Wish List

I made a mistake and what I meant to type was Cybertron Downshift (corrected on original post). Downshift's headsculpt was always a flavor of G1 Wheeljack, yes. What I love the most though is the boxy, 70s police car-meets-muscle car look of his alt mode. What I'd like is an update that...

    Legacy Line Wish List

An updated Cybertron Downshift would be welcome. I'll also 2nd and 3rd a request for another pass at Beast Machines Megatron. Finally, (and as someone who really, really liked the TR/LG versions), I'd like a larger, more involved Overlord. Make him Commander Class if necessary.

Inferno looks incredible, they did a great job on him. I'm confused about Armada Starscream though. Maybe I need to have a closer, more detailed look, but it seems like he's just the T30 mold upsized with a few new accessories.

I think that you're referring to symmetry. If so, yes, I think that is something that designers generally try to keep in mind. But, aside from the lion head-as-shoulder-pauldron, his robot mode is fairly balanced.

That is some interesting behind-the-scenes information on Cosmos' design/creation, thanks for sharing. Nice as it is to learn "how the sausage is made" though, I share G.B. Blackrock's and other's sentiments about his UFO mode looking off. I realize that a flying saucer is kind of a goofy...

Agreed. Brussels sprouts have become one of my favorite vegetables, especially when they have been seasoned and pan seared or oven roasted. Speaking of searing and roasting, Artfire arrived from Pulse today and he is glorious! Glad I decided to treat myself during their Power Days sale.

Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see firetrucks fighting with sharks!

I really love this Core-Class Iguanus. I picked him up on a trip to Target recently and he has not left my desk at work since. I don't have much of a connection to the character at all, but I know a good toy when I see it. I don't care much for Tiny Hot Rod, and I feel like I have enough...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

This was a pretty decent offering overall. None of them are really must-haves for me, but I will likely pick up Road Rocket. I loved the G2 cycles and who knows - maybe they'll do a re-retool and make Road Pig? I want to like Cosmos but yikes--that saucer mode is not great; bot mode looks...

The toy and packaging variation oddity, mystery and discovery thread

Yes, it definitely was. It could also have been some light-sensitive color changing plastic effect, similar to what G.I. Joe used for Zartan, Zarana, etc. Would have made the whole "solar" thing make more sense.

She looks good. I don't have any connection to her (or the other Headmaster Juniors, for that matter), so it doesn't bother me that she's not a Headmaster. I would pick this up if I saw it in the store, but it's not something that I feel the need to go out of my way to get.

Was the "icon flip" G1 scene transition inspired by the Adam West Batman show?

Probably. I feel like "probably" is the answer to the thread's question.

Yeah, these are right up my alley. Preordered all but the non-transforming TV dude, and I'm looking most forward to Snacky Shark and Burgerdozer.

I dig the A.W.E. Striker Bumblebee crossover quite a bit so I preordered. Would love to have taken advantage of my Pulse membership and preordered directly through them, but they were sold out, so I went with Amazon instead.

    Deep Questions

Honestly, I feel like whale-sized should be the new gold standard for just about every Transformer.

    The CHUG Problem

Interesting discussion. I've been collecting for a long, long time and I go back and forth between favoring the relative simplicity of the G1 era the most, and favoring more modern designs and engineering. Ultimately though, for me, the decision to buy or not buy a new Transformer hinges on...

    Studio Series discussion

Takara's Legends release is still the winner, IMO. SS86 just looks like a quick Frankensteining of the two, and it shows.

    Masterpiece Theater: the MP thread

He looks very nice and I'm sure that he will look great among his fellow G1 MP teammates. However, I still can't shake the feeling that Trailbreaker should have been given the MP treatment 10 years ago. Better late than never, I suppose but as Dake mentioned, he's had 3P options for years now.
