Yeah, I think the wild character designs & toy action features in the original MOTU line lead to a lot of fans having favourite characters that never got into the show much. That's how I ended up loving Stinkor & Snout Spout so much.

With both combiner torso characters AND increasingly truck w/ trailer characters (Primes etc) moving into the Commander price point, that is a LOT of pressure for only one figure per year (maybe more like 9 months now?). It just makes sense to move to 2 a year if they ever want to do other...

Yeah, people complain that the large figures aren't in "true" scale, but I think don't always appreciate how much space they'd take up if they were ALL at that scale. Not everyone has an entire unused basement to display everything.

I'm also hoping the black on his forearms/head is slightly more of a charcoal than the straight black which tends to just eat details. I'm assuming the fists will be purple this time.

I really love light piping, it's unobtrusive and brings the figures to life, but not every figure does it equally as well.
