I just don’t get it. Mufasa’s only role in the story is to die as motivation for Simba. This is like making a movie about Batman’s parents or Uncle Ben. Nobody cares.
I’ve preordered the first two and the two pack. May as well finish the set at that point. If Studio Series doesn’t do it for me, I still have Gravity Builder at least.
Mufasa was stupid, pointless garbage and the songs weren’t even good. It also has the prequel tendency to explain everything including things that dosn’t need explaining. Also the worst cliches to make the conflict between Mufasa and Scar. Wish I’d protested more when i was dragged to see it...
Probably like the unofficial toys using the same design philosophy. The individual robots slot into giant robot arms with details simulating an enlarged version of their vehicle modes. If not, just the big robots wearing the smaller robots again.
I didn’t like when unofficial combiners did the giant robot frame thing and I’m not liking it here. If this is how they do future combiners, I’m probably out.
except combaticons. I like those guys better as individuals anyway.
i don’t know the exact type of plastic they use for blast effects but they shouldn’t be affected by plasticizer leaking because the material is designed to soak the stuff up. It’s the harder ABS and nylon plastics used in transformers toys that get melted by the plasticizer.
My favorite proportion quirk isn’t the lankiness or the ridiculously long legs. It’s how his thumb is the width of two or three fingers and the same length. Why?
That’s disappointing. with the trailer method of combining, I’d at least expect Long Haul to be the slim Sunbow design but he’s still really wide. Looks like the only thing Hook has over CW/UW is a bicep rotation.
They should have thrown it away when they saw the face. Eyes with different area codes, oversized head that didn’t even try to match the body and a Handsome Squidward looking mug.
So the dudes that make every character they touch blocky, borderline Dreamwave chunk monsters made Tidal Wave. And he has CLAMP proportions. They have to be doing this on purpose.
I tossed mine after his hands broke but the treads were already melting the attachment points and the parts of his arms and thighs they were touching by that time.
