If their Optimus kit is any indicator, it'll have a Skybound Megatron treaded gun, a new back cannon and be 75% some overly specific Skybound scene reenactment stuff by mass. An Optimus arm a Skybound head with wires hooked to Laserbeak.
I figured they’d either go white to represent the part of the inner robot head peeking through the eyeholes or black to represent the endless depths of his empty soul. Guess there’s precedent for red after all.
Yeah, so useless fluff. No way anybody's touching those shins since that'd be disassembling more than half the toy held together by pins. Best you can hope for is covers which doesn't really upgrade anything.
I can see maybe add ons to the arms or shoulders to make a better turret but aside from that and the cannon, I dunno what they could do that isn’t the typical fluff
Skywarp and gray Bombshell and insecticons with opaque yellow instead of clear probably. Not sure what else they could do since the insecticons are already pretty accurate.
IIRC there’s still a lot of made up rules there, even before getting into the Egyptian Gods. Like when magic cards could sometimes be used during your opponent’s turn but usually not and I very distinctly remember a bit where Yugi’s Magnet Warrior got boosted attack from Summoned Skull.
The Machine Wars boxart situation always amuses me. With the effort they put into editing Laser Prime into Thunderclash, they could have just commissioned some new packaging art. Or you know, just slap some product photos there.
