The problem is, other than shiny gold, he is kind of boring looks wise. A few black painted lines like we see in the anime would have helped to break it up a bit though.

Got my Leo in the mail today. I opened that chest and saw his nipple. It’s a little weird. 😂
I’m very satisfied with him though. The Beast Wars figure was one I always wanted but never dropped the money on. The repaints never just quite got it over the years.

I like the Energon Dark Starscream and / or Energon Energon Starscream. That little F-22 mold is one of my favorite that was severally underutilized in the amount of repaints / remolds that could have been done with it.
I’m 100% jelly of you and anybody else who has that Magnus. I remember when Energon came out I called 6 or 7 Toys R Us trying to find a Scorponok. Never once did I ask about Magnus. Never saw him in store. He still goes for $100+ on eBay.
Aaron Archer has a podcast on YouTube. He has spent a lot of time on there talking about Tidal Wave / Shockwave. It’s a very interesting listen if you’re a fan of Armada. Or interested in how toys come to be.
Probably has to do with how the word already has other meanings. I’m no expert on all of that, but that’s why certain Transformers has to add “Autobot” in front of their name. Autobot Jazz or Ratchet for example.
It looks like that’s all they did, which is why I wanna see more pictures of it. Be cool if they actually used Armada Overload and Jetfire as part of the design / combining process to go with him.
I think most of us would prefer new versions, especially if Overload. But I could see Hasbro...
