Hmm...yeah, that is a disappointing hover tank. I'm still a big fan of the robot mode, but I think that they somehow managed to make his altmode a DOWNGRADE from the original pretender inner robot. Not an easy task!

Ah, ok. Not sure that I'm interested in the cartoon (I might be wrong, I was skeptical of Animated, but it turned out to be one of my favorite things in the franchise) but I'm curious to see what the toyline will be about.

You mentioning it is the first time that I actually realized that Skullgrin IS a deluxe, not core. I still like the design, but now I wish Iguanus had been a deluxe. It does always bother me when "team members" are the wrong scale in regards to each other.

a bargain at $66.99! Since I already have a pretty good Orion Pax (wrong alt mode, but a good robot) I probably wouldn't have bought him by himself, but I've been wanting a good Alpha Trion forever, and I like the extra accessories as well, so I'll definitely be buying if possible.

Skullgrin looks fantastic. Love these new mini-pretenders. Dead End is pretty much what I expected. Not bad, by any means, just no surprises. Crank Case is a Skids retool, which I wasn't expecting. Pointblank looks great. I love that they named him "Autobot Blanker" as though someone was...

But no, you are technically correct (the best kind of correct.) We've never gotten mass release, transforming Air Warriors. I would happily snap them up in both Siege and Earthrise seeker repaints. And, as CoffeeHorse mentioned, Autoroopers as well. I wouldn't be opposed to a Legacy style...

I do love that Crasher. Mine has started to yellow a bit, but it's still a great toy. That said, I'll probably buy the new one, too. You can never have too many Crashers.

Nice! I kinda like that it looks like a traditional Caterpillar yellow dump truck. They build those in my hometown just around the corner from where I work.

And another thing I just thought of. How is it that we have never gotten an official purple generic "air warrior" seeker? C'mon, Hasbro. You know we'll buy it. Possibly several each!
