If I'm WB, I'm hoping against hope that Miller resurfaces and goes into rehab or whatever else is needed to tighten their loose screw. It might be enough to earn some sympathy points, so long as no one gets seriously hurt before then. And THEN I release the movie.

Yeah, I noticed that Thomas skillfully avoided mentioning Loving v. Virginia.

I feel like the prequels should have been AOTC, ROTS and a film version of this. TPM could have been a comic book or a novel. An EU backstory. It was a waste of a feature film.

As someone who is laser-focused on noticing any and all continuity issues, I was satisfied by the way they handled that.

I think I could have forgiven so much if the production values were better. The original Star Wars movies would have been similarly disappointing if they'd had this show's soundtrack and camera work.

Would he even want to? I can't imagine any actor would want to play this same role continuously for so long. Burnout is real and the last thing I want is a lead actor who's phoning it in out of sheer boredom.

Even a couple TIE fighters circling overhead to provide air support would have been good enough, I think. It's not as if the stronghold was defended by a shield or laser cannons.
