I think they're trying to reduce the amount of plastic toys, but not eliminate them completely. Here's their Super Mario toys:
Which are definitely the old style Happy Meal toys. I think it just depends on the promotion. Some properties can be done well without plastic, but some can't.
This is my first time hearing about Transform-a-Snacks, but I kind of love the concept. I would have demanded these all the time for my school lunches as a kid. I would rarely have gotten them, but I would have demanded them all the same.
I knew we had been getting a lot of things lately that had seemed impossible before, but seeing them all laid out like this really makes me realize how much has changed from 20 years ago when I first got back into collecting (excuse me while I go crumble into dust upon contemplating how old I am).
I am hoping we get a version like this along with the prophesied Lockdown remold. I don't really mind bright color Junkions (Tow Hook will be a Junkion in my collection) but I do like cohesive groups as well.
Preordered Axle Grease, Devcon, and the mini Dinobots. Still crazy that we're getting an official Devcon toy.

I love the insanity of a 5mm ported bird friend for Beachcomber, but I have the PotP one already...
that's what I usually do. I don't save many boxes, just the few that I find particularly interesting or theoretically valuable in the future, but I try to Russian Nesting Doll them as densely as possible into a Titan box.

Did a trade with Nevermore for a couple of Cosmoses, and couldn't be happier with how it went. There was some paperwork involved to get my stuff shipped out and through customs, but nothing too complicated or...
In a perfect world, the head would be remolded with sabreteef, but even without, I would buy the hell out of this. Catilla was one of my childhood favorites.
Still love that Bumblebee mold. Classics had some great toys. I didn't cave on a new Optimus until Earthrise because none of them were better than the Classics Prime I already had.
Like Shadewing said, "sorta?" If you do the bike halves as the legs of Scraphook, he can transform to-and-fro just fine between robot and this thing:
And there may be some other workable combinations after the rest of the new Junkions are released. But it will definitely depend on which...
The Junkions are really more "mix-and-match" bots than actual weaponizers like most of the earlier take-apart-robots were. Between that, the way that they've been designed to be fully transformable while still together, and the canon depictions of Junkions as being able to pretty much do...
