I think current internet discourse is part of the problem here. Movies (if part of a franchise) are no longer allowed to be "fine." They're either the best thing to ever be made or they're an affront to God and have ruined the franchise forever.
The truth is, a lot of them are just fine...
I never saw the Last Knight (Age of Extinction was the final straw for me and the Bay films), but I did read Rob Bricken's F.A.Q. on the film, which I think tells me most of what I needed to know about it.
I agree about the movie styles, but for me, I want that motorcycle as yet another Junkion character.
I will happily take a repaint in traditional Junkion colors as well.
I don't like it on Sludge, but I do plan on ordering the Paddles kit:
Maybe it's the fin "mane" on the back of the head, but it somehow looks better than it does on Sludge.
I still like going to the movies, but that's because I have two small, nice, "mom-and-pop" movie theaters nearby. I can barely stand going to the large chain theaters anymore, either.
It's nice to see what looks to be an all original story for the Ghostbusters both old and new. I liked Afterlife and didn't mind that it referenced/reused a lot of stuff from the previous movies as that was kind of necessary to link the new characters to something familiar, but I'm definitely...
I get the same feeling. I keep reminding myself that I don't need it in any way, shape, or form, but it is such a fun mold and it looks so good in those colors.
I don't have a BB Movie style Soundwave, but I did order that Rumble. He's a great "generic" bot to fill in ranks in the style of all the multicolored Season 1 Rumble/Frenzy clones.
