That is very true. I would love to get SOME kind of accompanying fiction. I would even take 3-4 sentence blurbs on packaging that give a quick glimpse into who this character is and what they are doing. If done well, you would be able to piece together the rough shape of the story by reading...
Technically we already have three, so long as you consider "bending over at the waste to make a head" to be transforming.
But I would love to see some proper Battle Beasts. Maybe as Targetmasters/Battlemasters. Heck, Smashdown was basically 90% of the way there:
I'm a G1-er in general, though not exclusively so by any means. As such, I've actually been very pleased with the mix we've been getting lately. The mix of actual G1 figures (including some pretty deep cuts), different-series existing characters in a G1-esque aesthetic so that they can mix...
I wish the American version would have gotten that level of paint detail, but I'm still just pleased as punch that we got multiple Battle Beast homages.
It would have to be pretty spectacular to get me to pay for another G1 Optimus, as I'm pretty happy with ER Prime + the accessories from the Centurion pack. Not that it would be coming from Studio Series, but the only surefire way to get me to buy a Commander Class Optimus is for it to be of...
This is one Titan where I would happily trade some size for extra complexity. Give me all the doodads and gimmicks from the Armada toy even if it means he's a bit shorter than some of the other Titans.
The packaging on all of the crossovers has been spectacular. I really appreciate the extra mile they've been going to to make these crossovers feel like big deals.
For those of you that have seen it, could I jump right in if I'm way behind on Who? Loved the Doctor / Donna seasons, but I haven't seen anything past 3/4 of the way through Capaldi.
I gotta disagree. I much prefer the look of clear plastic for windows/headlights, etc. on vehicle modes. A bit of tint to make the interior not SUPER visible is all I need to be able to mentally block out any secret robot bits hiding inside. Painted windows are fine for anything below Deluxe...
Finally saw it. Enjoyed it quite a bit. A lot of answers to longstanding questions, but still room for the story to keep going if it were to happen. Overall felt very funny and like good classic Venture Bros.
I've never heard it, but it's funny because one of the extremely few memories I have of my parents watching classic Who back in the day is getting scared at a scene of a mad scientist type getting eaten by his own monsterous creation and hiding behind a chair (well, more to the side of, but...
