Hound was one of our votey choices, and I was super interested in seeing what they had in mind for him. I was guessing the evolved form would resemble Bayverse Hound / Animated Bulkhead.

I'm still just hoping this "similar to, but legally distinct from" VW will let them be more liberal with the repaints. I want Glyph and Bug Bite and Wasp and Volks and any number of repaints from this mold that they weren't willing to pay licensing fees for before.

I still think he's a great Ultra Magnus. He's definitely interesting in that he's specifically a representation of a different UM than the standard G1 version, which makes him pretty unique.

Saw it over the weekend. I thought it was great. I'm not a big comic person, but I'm embedded far enough into nerd culture to get 95% of the references. Spoiler-free quick opinion is that is a super fun buddy-cop type comedy action movie. Not a ton of plot, but that didn't bother me at all...

So it would appear to be a totally original mold, just taking inspiration from the SS toy. It's a surprising way to go, but I'd be curious to see it.

Interesting that they start with the same robot mode, but give him a very different alt-mode.

I really do miss those days. By far my favourites were the ones that started off with an official mold, but went absolutely wild with remolding and color schemes.

I do think that the RotB Optimus actually works really well as a G1 Nemesis Prime. Like, it's clearly Optimus, but much more Mad-Max'd out.

Anyone have any recommendations for a decent resin 3D printer? Something good enough to make a presentable TF head, but not a multi-thousand dollar machine? I'm an engineer by trade, so I 3D model in Solidworks all day and I've always been interested in having a printer, but never looked into...
