If he didn't have a nose, I'd say he's perfect as is for King Atlas or MW Starscream. Since he has one i hope a super slavish head sculpt is in the waiting. Either way, this in MW Starscream colors could easily be one of my favorite figures of the past couple years.

Its not a bad ironhide but those hinges are still a lot to take in.

Those are wonderful. That cobra hanger is phenomenal.

Its wild. Time just gets faster and faster and gauging it by toy releases surely ramps it up. I have to tell myself that when my instinct is to go "they just released that character!" when its actually been six years, or whatever. Its tough.

Also, the more i look at the original cab for optimus/sureshot, the cooler it looks. The angles, the wicked vents; its just a pretty awesome cabover for Prime. Makes me wonder if repainting this would even be worth it when they could pluck this entire design out of obscurity and do it real...

I don't mind this Bumblebee because his simpler nature may (hopefully) mean he's not as fiddly to transform and holds together pretty well.

It was always a dream of mine for Hasbro to assault us with Diaclone repaints and over the past couple years, that dream came true. It always seemed like an easy reservoir of repaint fodder and a way to tap in to that 40 year nostalgia AND a great way for me to justify buying more things I didnt...

So far, all the toys we've seen from Rise of the Beasts look wonderful. I wish both Airraizors had more color on them just for the sake of popping off a shelf, but otherwise they are great and different enough to justify buying. I skipped kingdom Airrazor so this new one will do nicely...

Realistically no but we can dream. Also, generations could just double as a line for these things. I mean, we know how often we get figures for designs that are thirty plus years old.
