Y'know, coming back to this and rewatching some episodes earlier, it seems this is actually less screen accurate. Well, okay, so it's accurate to the movie. But the toon eps I saw had the part the barrel plugged into as grey.

Oh yeah. That was the year/season that solidified me as a fan. I enjoyed the first two seasons, but I didn't really start getting serious about it until the Aerialbots and Stunticons showed up. It kills me that my favorite seasons are also the worst-looking in so many parts. It's annoying, but...
