indeed, It was great being over there doing a thing while other people were over there doing a thing. It gave Maple a chance to interact with different characters - and begin to slip some things out while everyone was distracted ... lol yes, like the above "I'm hungry give me a hug" ... which...
Since she was being so obvious about it, perhaps a little Viknadian magic then. The droplets of rain seem to pause about her for a moment as her spell arks outward like invisible lightning connecting to all those who stand with her.

well in this batch, I think we see Maple's first very open display of what's obviously a crush on Misty, followed interestingly enough by an uncharacteristic bout of being quiet as she seems to be either really embarrassed, and / or pretending not to be...
I was hope'n for at least combiner wars levels of combinerness from any eventual monstructor... oh well. maybe next time. it's not like I'm not still going to be buying these things in my 60s so, I'll just look forward to seeing one after I start getting my pension lol
