    Star Trek General Discussion

And you can tell; Discovery feels like a decent seven-season show that someone came along turned into a "supercut." We're constantly being told things about the crew (they're a tight-knit family! Airiam is the glue that holds them together! Linus has all sorts of weird and funny...

    Star Trek General Discussion

In the novel timeline, Picard and Beverly got married and had a son, René (Jacques Robert François) Picard in 2381. (Given his age, Jack would also have been born around 2381.)

    Moana 2

I loved the Tangled series, it has that perfect balance of action and comedy, some excellent songs, and lots of big plot twists that make it nigh-impossible to talk about without spoiling.

    Moana 2

Word is that this started out in the planning stages as a series akin to Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, then got reorganized into a movie, and I can totally see it. The Cassandra-like new sidekicks, the expanded worldbuilding, the "season 2" hook, it's all stuff that Tangled did brilliantly, and...

Main difference is that obscure transformers tend to be unique designs/colours (even if they're just straight repaints), while obscure/generic Star Wars characters are 90% just a boring human. If it was a cool-looking alien or droid, that'd be something, but no one's getting excited for Another...

My wild hope is that one of the Energon homages is a new Omnicon. Combining wasn't the only gimmick in that line.

And Kira, of course, is making a constant effort to not swear at her co-workers as a matter of course. B'elanna meanwhile is not making the effort, and I assume that's just ADR'd in post.
