This line is obviously not designed for me, but if Hasbro comes up with Deluxe/Voyager figures with proper articulations & transformations like the EarthSpark Terrans I'll likely pickup a few like Megabull and that Junkion colored character. Charging $60USD for that brick of a Scorponok with no...
I'm mildly interested in Silverbolt for its engineeering. As I would like to see if I can somehow repurpose the CW Deluxe limb bots to attach to the AOTP Frame System with some DIY. But I'm not sure if that interest is enough for me to shell out MSRP Commander Class money to satiate that...
Love Legacy Menasor and thought the frame system makes sense, converting from Motormaster's trailer. The same can not be said for Devastator & Superion, and I'm still not biting on these teams even with these BTS writeups & images, as best a job as Mark does for Air Raid here.
One thing I...
That's why some people are pissed that Omega Prime's locked behind HasLab. I think Fire Convoy's design is OK. But I really don't like Magnus' proportion (and his personality weren't handled well in the show to me either) so I didn't back the HasLab. If one day Gigatron is announced though...
Never watched RID'01 until it was on Tubi a few years ago so I never had any toys of the show. I like anime (I was more of a Gundam & Macross fans than TF), but not really into RID'01 aesthetic. The only RID'01 bot designs are I like are Gigatron, Sky-byte and JRX. I'll get this Sky-byte.
It's North of $500CAD (now there's HasLab Surcharge?) at checkout. That's a little shy of 7 Leaders at MSRP. Still hard to square the math. I just don't feel it like I did VS & Deathsaurus.
Not backing right away. The individual bots look much like they belong to a kiddie line (like Cyberverse). I looked forward for Liokaiser, but this is a bit of a disappointment except the combined mode.
Couldn't afford Unicorn (both $$$ and the space for it, but wish I could), but I backed VS...
I take the extra Microtrailers as hint for Sky Garry & Grandus!
I'm on the fence for this Star Convoy Optimus Prime. It's not "13th Prime" for me (but I don't care for a one-line package blurb), and I'm not loving the "apparent" simplicity, body proportion, and the alt mode's appearance of the...
I'm just interested in GE Ironhide if I ever see Ratchet on sale to pair with, and DOTM Shockwave which, like a lot of people, missed the initial release. Never seen it at retail during the pandemic distribution chaos period. I thought of going the KO route for months and moths, but reviewers...
It's a Deluxe, and will likely get repainted to other decos and/or PR later. Hope that by then your situation improved enough to get it. It's a great figure for a relatively small price.
Steeljaw. Steeljaw!? WHAT!? No, actually, I get it. The little cat's overpriced (can't be helped if the cassettes are ever gonna see the light of day as single releases), but I like it quite a lot in hand too. Seems it's THE figure to land on both the top AND the worst lists of '24 in...
Slapping down the design team members for speaking the truth through fear and intimadation.
Back to the figure. It's nicer, sure but not enough to PO and pay MSRP for especially my main problem with the OG was the alt mode's tabbing & clear plastic issues, this one looks even worse at those...
Don't see the value of a Voyager here. Just a bigger Deluxe size & engineering figures with a bit more accessories than normal. But it's good to complete the main Autobots trio I guess.
Feels like something even simpler & smaller than the Power Core Combiner considering the price point. But if the play pattern is not limited to Combiner torso+limbs and can be built up like the fossilizers/weaponizers, than that might turn out to be an awesome line..
