Honestly I thought they did it a sight better than Anakin to Vader. One of my main problems with RotS was that the Fall never really felt right to me. Where as in this film the arc is stronger imo. The last step where he lets Orion fall is probably just a hair too abrupt, I'll agree, but on the...
I thought the joke was fine. It was mediocre the first time, yes, but obeyed the rule "repetition equals humor" and got funnier in subsequent uses. When he bellows it like a crazed war-cry in his first real battle it was actually quite funny.
-ZacWilliam, it seemed very in character for this BB...
I mean it's not the same as watching the whole play (which I got to do when it came to Hartford earlier this year. It was great.) but most of the main musical numbers have fan-made animatics online, some of which are very good.
-ZacWilliam, after seeing it I was saying it really felt like it...
The funniest fact about that origin is that Go-Bots kinda used it first.
-ZacWilliam, I mean about as well as Go-Bots did anything storywise but still...
Saw it tonight with my whole family.
I liked it a lot. It's really very good.
What stunned me is that my 16 year old son (who is not into Transformers at all) and my 10 year old daughter both loved it maybe more than me. Like the boy is in his room right now loudly raving about it to online...
It's because he was Takaras first Transforming car toy ever. So he gets pride of place in a line like this.
-ZacWilliam, I'm sure his mold being long lost didn't hurt either
I don't think there will be a lot that hasn't leaked at least in name, but a surprise or two isn't impossible.
-ZacWilliam, not in the mainline probably but an exclusive isn't impossible.
No it got a season of a TV show.
-ZacWilliam, also yeah this gives them the potential for a TV show but could just be for an online mobile game or something. We'll see...
The one thing I will say about having Megatronus AND Leige Maximo in the Thirteen is that it parallels/foreshadows Megatron and Starscream.
You've got the big brute "Great Bad Guy" and you've got the "Scheming Vain Sly Betraying Liar." It fittingly echoes the Transformers story as a whole...
The 13 question in the survey is probably a little because they feature in TF:One and a little because they are one of the big focuses of next years Toyline.
Out of curiousity let's see how much I can say about each without looking anything up.
1) Prima - The first. The archetypal...
Was at the Squishables store in the Mall today to grab a baby cousin a present and noticed that they had:
Grasshopper, Bole Weval and Stag Beatle.
-ZacWilliam, jus though that was a funny trio to exist.
That's not how those legs work. The spines would be on the front. Also the head and wings in robot mode likely wouldn't transform right with spikes on them.
-ZacWilliam, awesome in theory but I don't think the engineering works.
Except Hasbro has Season 2 scheduled to last till 2026. So it may not be making a Season 3 but it seems we have a year, quite possibly a year and a half of Season 2 still to air.
-ZacWilliam, and again Cyberworld is not on the media timeline at all, during or after Earthspark. That could...
I'll say I love them all immensely and think they're great gimmicks that are really good fictional set ups.
Targetmasters are the easiest to understand imo. How many real life military vehicles have separate pilots/drivers and gunners. That's all Targetmasters are: dedicated gunners that leave...
